Timothy Heerensperger, M. D. graduated from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston in 1987. He completed an internship in Pediatrics followed by a residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Texas at Houston in 1991. Dr. Heerensperger completed subspecialty training in the areas of Pediatric Anesthesiology at Baylor College of Medicine (Texas Children’s Hospital) and Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology at Hermann Hospital. Following completion of his residency he entered private practice at St. Joseph Hospital in Houston, TX, where he practiced until the formation of Team Anesthesia in 1994.
Dr. Heerensperger is one of the founders of Gulf Anesthesia Associates, formed in 2002. He is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the Texas Society of Anesthesiologists, the Texas Medical Association, the Harris County Medical Society and the Society for Ambulatory Anesthesia. He is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology. Dr. Heerensperger and his wife have nine children.
